Annual Function (Day-1)

Hey guys, I’m sorry I didn’t write for the last few days! I have no reason for that, just didn’t feel like writing! Okay, so Annual Function Day1, was scheduled on 17th March. The one day when uniforms were banned in the college! Seriously, it feels soo good to look at colours, and not the monotonous greys and whites all the time.

Our Annual Function was named as ‘Medalist 2016′ and I don’t know why it was named like that. There must be some reason, I’ll have to find it out. 😅
The theme for this year was ‘School days’, that means, with this function they were trying to bring back the child in us, to make us relive those moments again! The ground floor was booked for Gully Cricket and Chair Race. The First one for Games stalls and other events, and the Second one for the Food Stalls!

So, all of it started with the Chair Race, it was such a lovely experience, I mean we all have played that game hundreds of times in school, and looking at those seniors enjoying at the music and fighting like kids to get a chair as soon as the music stops! It was crazyyyy! 😂😂😂

Then comes the Gully Cricket, why it’s called gully cricket, I don’t know why, but according to me, cause it was played in a small closed area, maybe isliye! There was the Smiley wala Ball which we loved as a Kid! **See, everything reminds of childhood na! 😂😂😂**

And from students, to teachers, to even our HOD Sir, everyone tried their hands on that game! Haha, usme bohot maza aya! All the audiences were gathered in the corridor, on all three floors, and this was the center of attraction! It was amazing!

Then comes the first floor, there were games stalls, I didn’t play any of them, so I have no idea waha par kya hua. 😅
Excluding them, there were other events going on, that is the Selfie Competition, nothing they just had to pose, as a group or a solo, just take a selfie! Then another one was the Mehendi Making Competition. My friends participated in that, and they came out with such beautiful designs, they were stunning! ❤

Iske baad there was a Rangoli Competition, but the twist was that they had to use anything except colours to prepare it! And they used everything from sand to rice, dal, other pulses, flowers, some even used cement and POP! 😂😂

The best one was the one which had a scenery made of coloured sand in the centre and flowers around, have a look! It was the most beautiful! 😇

And the last one, the Second Floor, the Food Stalls one! I spent all my money over there! Okay so sabse pehle I noticed that cute guy, hehe! He had put up a Bhel Stall, and ohh God, his marketing skills were of another level. He and his group, they were almost shouting, haha, it was hilariously cute! 😄

We went to all the stalls, there were pani puri, bhel, chaat, fruit custards, Lemonade, Maggi, fruit juices etc etc etc! I was dying for that Bhel from the beginning! The guy looked at me with that ‘Humaari bhel khaao na‘ wala look! 😂😂

So, we went to the stall, he asked Ma’am kya khayenge aap? 😅 We had a Bhel over there, it was tasty, yes! Then we tried out everything else too! Such an amazing experience it was. ☺

Finally, the function ended with the students dancing on Bollywood Hit Songs. And I only preferred watching them. They were dancing like insane! Hehe, overall the event was tooo much fun! I enjoyed a lot! ☺☺
