Oops! Wrong Number!

Hello people, Firefly’s back with a hilarious experience again. I guess this might’ve happened number of times with each one of us. We all have received phone calls from unknown numbers where the person on the other side speaks in such a weird language, and about weird things and people, then we finally realise it’s a Wrong Number and disconnect. 😹😹

A similar thing happened with me a few days back.I had exam the next day and I was busy studying some theorems in Maths. And suddenly, my phone rang. I do not really like to receive calls, and this was an UNKNOWN NUMBER which I would’ve never received. 🙄 But, I thought it might be some classmate asking for IMPs and hence I slided over the green button. 😂 Let us suppose the guy on the other side is called as Mr X. I’ll tell you what happened next:-

Me: Hello!
Mr X: Hello, kaisi hai?
         (Hello, how are you?)

Me: Aap kaun?
        (Who are you?)
Mr X: Arey mujhe nahi pehchana?
          (Didn’t you recognise me?)

Me: Nahi. Aap kaun bol rahe ho? 🤔
       (No. Who’re you?)
Mr X: Mazaak mat kar. Bhul gayi kya mujhe?
(You’re kidding, right? Did you forget me?)

Me: Kya mazaak! Kaun bol raha hai jaldi batao. 😮
(What kidding! Just tell me WHO ARE YOU!)
Mr X: Mai Shahrukh.
(I am Shahrukh.)

Me: Arey kaun Shahrukh!! Aapko kisse baat karni hai? 😣
(Who Shahrukh, who do you want to talk to?)
Mr X: Akshay se baat karna bai.
(I want to talk to Akshay.)

Me: Kaun Akshay! 😲 Ye wrong number hai. 😨
(Who Akshay? This is a wrong number.)
Mr X: Arey koi wrong number nai hai, maine sahi jagah lagaya hai.
(No no, this is no wrong number. I called at the right place.)

Me: Keh diya na wrong number hai. Ab is number se call nai aana chaiye mujhe. 👿😒
(I told you it’s a wrong number. I don’t want any calls from this number again.)

Then I disconnected.

And then I laughed so hard at this incident, for once I thought, I know this guy. His voice was sooo sooo relatable, I felt like I was very familiar to that voice. And then I thought, there might be someone actually named Shahrukh, right? But the fact that Shahrukh wanted to talk to Akshay! OMG! 😂😂😂 That was such a hilarious experience. I mean people these days have no other productive work than to disturb innocent kids like me in the middle of the exams with some shitty Bollywood drama. 😹😹 Godddd! People!! 😂
