Hello people! Hehe, on my lovely readers’ demand, I am sharing another poem. I wrote this a week after I joined Facebook. πŸ˜‚ Do have a look and let me know your views. 😸

FACEBOOK

There’s an app, called as Facebook,
Most of the teens give it a look. πŸ€“

Facebook can make a lot of buddies,
But it’s better to concentrate on studies.

Facebook pe hokar they wanna become cool, 😎
But ho jaate hain tensed, when they come to school.

Saara time messages ko karte hain send,
Poochho toh kehte hain, β€˜It’s today’s trend.’ πŸ˜‹

Hota hai headache and health related trouble,
Eyesight weak and spelling mistakes double! 😐

Whole day online with friends on chat,
Class me aate hi their mind goes flat. 😲

Chat par spellings get shortened in form,
And disregard of spellings then comes as a storm. 😨

Should ko β€˜shud’, would ko β€˜wud’,
Ban gaye ho jaise Facebook ke Robin hood! πŸ˜‚

Facebook is a really big attraction,
But it does have some negative reaction. πŸ˜…

It is distracting the student’s mind,
Better to stay away and be confined.

On your studies, your mind you zoom,
And don’t waste time in silly chat-rooms. πŸ˜’

Get to work for your future bright,
And attempt to achieve the greatest height. πŸ˜ƒ

  4. Haha.. Mast h Chandni. . I laughed after reading this. Very funny, creative and more importantly, very deep. Our generation is becoming virtual day by day. . It’s good to some extent, but there should be a limit. I am happy that I decided not to log in to Facebook long ago. WordPress se bhi lamba break liya tha..

    Kaise ho? Howz life? Howz college?

      And I am very fine, life is going good too. ☺☺ College, it’s boring this year. πŸ™„ Last year there were E-weeks and so many other seminars and stuff. Is baar there’s nothing much. πŸ˜“

      Btw, aap kaise ho? πŸ˜ƒ And why break from blogging? I remember last year you took that A-Z challenge in April. Are you doing it this year too? 😻 If yes, give me some suggestions. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

      Yes.. Took a long break from WordPress. I needed it.. Haha.. College cannot be boring.. Haha..

      And I am fine. Was just occupied with many things. A-Z challenge. I completely got mentally drained during this challenge. Haha.. Suggestions for A-Z challenge, do it with full energy, be patient. Whatever interesting comes to your mind related to alphabets, go with it. Write less, but it should be deeper. Haha.. Anyway, don’t listen to anything I say. Do it your own way. Haha..

  7. Haha so cute πŸ˜‚..But well written πŸ˜‰.. I too was habitual of writing ‘uh’ to you and ‘meh’ to me and many more words made just for Facebook πŸ˜‚..Now I feel embarrassed for that 😝…

For me it wasn’t to go for shortened but I was trying to be different lol… Still sometimes I use noi for no πŸ€“ and some more words like these but I am changing my habit slowly slowly πŸ˜‡.. and your poem is beautiful as well as indicating the problem of over using the social media by all of us ..We should be aware of it that it’s for spare time not for full time πŸ˜‚
